Can anybody tell me the difference to the pipe that goes from as above non egr cost £21 egr £105 what gets me the latter is a shorter hose I can't see that the bends are different im i missing something here?? I have searched for silicone after market optiond but there are only listings for non egr has anybody bought a kit for a egr version as I'm not willing to pay £105 for a single hose when I can get a whole set cheaper in silicone ps 2.5 diesel

Difference is, you can easily make the long hose shorter. But you need to do more work to make the short hose longer. :D:D

So that's it no funny bends why the hell for the outrageous price for the sake of two inches ok no funny jokes thanks. A whole set for silicon £60 includes all three pipes cool, sharp blade time oh by the way don't ring alli sport the makers of intercoolers clueless as to what's the difference between the two models .ok thanks.....

Hi I use silicon pipes for a job I'm doing at work! Let me know More details of what you need and I recon I could get it all much cheaper!
Cheers Paul

I have been offerd by a shop to send mine in for a replica (to copy) and will be reciving in two weeks a free set I will post details of where and how much to buy in the near future... Joe yes warmers ? The best I could find was £105 with famous four and non egr£21 black rubber originals so for any one wishing to buy you can get a set for non egr at£60plus vat in yellow silicone but you will need to cut one pipe short for the egr ( plastic) inlet with or without a blank off kit fitted

AP motorperformance (not affiliated) deal with ASH silicone pipes and alloy tubing. You can make your own set for less than say a Samco specific.

They are a really good price to by comparison and do exactly the same job.

I've replaced mine to stop the delamination. I use the straight silicone as joiners and the rest of the tubing is alloy. Similar to the turbo-intercooler side. I used two 90 deg alloy bends for the intercooler - intake side with the silicone joiners. Worked out cheaper. Plenty of options available other than kits.

I just want the rubber options my metal pipe work is ok . aerofabrique Does that mean you've more hose clips now as the original has 6

Yeah loads! But they're dead cheap from matey down the industrial park so no issues really. If you just want silicone then you may well be better off with tailored kits then. You'll also find your intake temps will be slightly lower as it doesnt conduct heat like the metal. A downside to my method...
