Good evening guys,

I have been phoning round insurance companies for quotes for my defender that has been laid up for a while.
Direct line, who used to insure the vehicle when it was last on the road a year ago have now asked me to produce a certificate of immobiliser installation. I have a standard lr alarm/ immobiliser fitted plus a meta alarm system. Neither of these have a certificate of instalation. Direct line said they wouldn't insure me without this proof that the landy has an imobliser.

Has anyone had this issue?
How can I get the lr certificate? I'm not the first owner of the defender.
