Try Premier Insurance brokers in Consett, Co Durham, they have always given me amazingly competitive prices, to the point that I don't normally bother about confused.com or anyone else anymore - my Rangie's quote (4.6 Vogue, T reg) for 2010, insurance due the same time as yours, is £296. hi rob yes headrests are fine thanks ! still locking for one with burgandy piping though to match the rest.

I stayed with Bell Direct as they were the cheapest for my previous car and were cheapest for my Rangey too (98 4.6 HSE). £246 fully comp with protected NCB.

I checked on comparethemarket.com and they still came out the cheapest. For me anyway. You can negotiate with them too to reduce it further.

More than happy with them. :)

try One Call Insurance (agents for Chaucer), I only have 4 years no claims and got myself £329... sure you will get better.

your 46,that should give you a big advantage really, have you got points or anything naughty on your license.

NO points 7 years no clains however excess also plays a part mines £100 vol and £200 comp.. giving £300 in total. have found 2 cheeper but excess was £550 and £750.will try all companies posted...also if your car is a 1999 or per to this insurance drops a lot (worked in insurance years ago) never could work out why it dropped so much?

Hi Rob...i use Lifesure, may not be open today but they cover me in my classic for my on site events work and everyting for roughly £250 (not exactly right but can't find the quote right now) personally i wouldn't touch A.Flux with someone elses havinf used them and been very unhappy with their services.....but as with all things others will think they are fab.

Cheers, Nick.

Hi
Iall ways use peter best 4x4 insurance specilists £186 fully comp .

Have tried all insurance comps peter best came up with £545..howeverthey did say i could get much cheeper on classic car with them..but you give up your no claims and they say if after 2 years you go else where(or have a claim) you start on zerro:ban:..this would mean about £15-1600 to insure mine next year.....no thanks..they were good at the info and said that some people do 'go for it' but run the risk????

I bet i can beat the lot of you!!

21
1 Years no claims
DR10 Driving ban (Drink)
SP30 (speeding 3 points)
Kwick Fit

£2655

But thats what you pay for love!lol:p

im not pleased. its a wounder that they take out of my bank monthly more than most of you pay for a year. but... what can i say???

Dont play with matches.

Performance direct.

Adrian Flux wanted £317.
Got mine from PD for £180. £70 excess.

i paid £3500 but i valued it at £5K with the insurance.

Ive always paid over the top insurance. i had a 1.4 306 at 17 an it was £1450(best i could find) then a 2ltr 190 mercedes an paid £1995.

lost my license (stupid i know!)

then had a 2.5Ltr Eclass Coupe an paid £1900

then on the my Rangie which in all honesty is a 4.6 V8 it £2655

It was either a Range rover or a Mercedes SL500 5Ltr V8 so i like to think i made the right choice.:D

Bloody hell.Might be cheaper to get a 300 note punto insure it and leave it on the drive for a year to build up ncb!
