how old are you?

i think most of the oldies on here with a few years NCB etc under their belt are paying under £200. Try adrian flux.

Doesnt sound too bad to me then is it fully comp?

I seem to remember HB sayin a while back that she is payin £130 or so a year full comp!

even the £274 is cheaper than what i am paying for my s3, right i think i am gonna start hunting for a cheap tdi 90 soon (well when my insurance is up)

Price sounds fair but make sure all extras are declared. I am with equity and pay £265 and unless I modify the engine for performance I can change anything else I want for free. Suspension, winch, roll cage, snorkel chequerplate etc. I just tell em what I have done and they add it to the growing list. Some insurance companies start adding to the bill if it is anything but standard.

Sounds a fair price but ask what breakdown cover is provided, just roadside is fine if you don't know much about repairs.

But I would go for recovery back to home, most landies easy to fix, but if your drive shaft went or cambelt do you want to be stranded somewhere remote.

42 yrs.7 yrs no claims..comp ..90td with 300dtdi , motor £155, 100 ex,50 glass...im well happy.

some place called 'lancaster ins' , found it on the pc !!

i like thems peeps at Lancaster, i got me 110 with them and they said cos of it's age (89) it's classed as a "classic" vehicle - so (they said) when their breakdown man comes out to rescue me, because they are used to dealing with "other" classic motors like astons and jags they'll be able to get me fixed up and on the road again in no time :)
