Hi I'm new to forums, and landrovers. Im considering buying a Disco for me and my son to share, However as he is not yet 18 and has aquired no 'no claims Bonus'. Can anyone suggest a good (cheap) insurance company. So far I've had quotes between £1000 and £6000 for an old 1993 valued at £1000.

Hi i remember when i was 17 (1986) my dad insured his volvo 240 "any driver over 17 with his concent" on his policy so i could drive it, dont know if this can still be done but it did for me until i was 21 then the insurance company gave me a loyalty no claims or so they said when i decided to insure my own car at 21,good luck gazv70
