Any good Land Rover specialist insurance companies out there?
Any that sponsor this site for example?
Ie another forum im on gave 10% discount for members.
Not classic,just a disco 2

Oh thanks,i didn't see that.
Is it just flux then?
I wouldn't insure my scalextric cars with them though!

I used HIC (part of flux) cant fault them :) and I have 3 insured with them reasonably priced too (well for an insurance company  )

Good and bad reviews about them on here.
I decided after reading some of the horror stories that like you I wouldn't touch them.

Its not just on here I have read it.
Friends have been shafted by them, and many people I know on other car forums have had bad experiences too.

I used Lancaster, policy with Ageas, great insurance company, highly recommend them

I used Lancaster with no problems, but my club has a discount arranged with Peter James so i have got both of mine covered by them now. Cheap as chips as well but that could be down to being old :(

performance direct, I insure mine for 380 on classic, it does limit the miles annually but unless u do silly miles u will be fine

I'm 42, Lancaster where half the price of any others, they seem to be pushing to control the whole market for 4x4

NFU for me. Not he cheapest but then not the dearest either. Why do I use them? Cos if anything happens i walk into their little shoppe on the high street. No bloody phone call centres for me!!!

Lancaster. For me £250 all mods declared on 8000 miles use and it has been 250 for the last 3 years with them.

I use NFU, they don't have any issues with 4x4s being used off road, modified, winches etc. Plus they have a local office so there's no wasting time on phone calls to India!!

I used Swinton on specialist policy for modded landys cost me 215 a year I'm 30 a mechanic which bangs all my policy's up usually and they don't take note of no claims as its specialist policy so ideal if u have none like me because they are on another car
