to be honest mate, insurance has risen dramatically in the last 2 years. the farmers union used to be dead cheap for insurance especially for land rovers, but i tried them and theyve pretty much got wise to it.
im 27 and have 1 non fault accident in the last 5 yrs and 2 driving offences and my last car, an mx5 cost me 1400 to insure a couple years ago, n this was considered cheap to what id previously insured.
when i came to insure my landy this time with 2 years NCB i rang around and noone came near to adrian flux, ive previously insured with them before and have been happy with them.
i got fully comp for £568 for a 1990 one ten with an immobiliser.
also worth mentioning that adrian flux dont charge for modifications, and adding them to your policy as you do them doesnt warrant you to pay for amendments each time (£25 a go)
when you get your docs through they ask you to sign an immobiliser declaration form to which i just signed "unbranded immobiliser" and also they give you an agreed valuation form.
the agreed valuation costs 17 quid and you have to take 7 photos of the car, however you can submit this at any time if you want, so i plan to do all my modifications first, let them know about what ive done, then submit an agreed valuation with photos
for what its worth, ive never had a problem with flux, and have insured 2 bikes, 2 cars, and the land rover with them.
