oh is there anything i can buy to reduce it? not sure what security is on a 2003 td5? except a farmer with a shotgun!:violent:

200 quid including breakdown cover, three points, no claims, parked on the drive with my wife as a named driver. Oh and seven years ncb

Adrain Flux over the phone

It is a 19j but even so I'd give them a bell, mines got wheel spacers and alloys on it, unlimited mileage, also let them know you use Landyzone cos they gave me a discount. Head over to the insurance department on here and get the guys name you need to speak to

I was quoted 370 for a 110 300tdi, no ncd, 1 fault claim, no endorsements. 4000 miles a year kept in a garage. Agreed value of 5k including mods.

I do drive a company car for work and social, which I think is why mine is low.

I'm bout the same as marmaduke, just under 200 squid with Adrian flux for my fender. unlimited mileage, greenlaning is covered, free blowjobs at petrol stations, etc,....

1993 200tdi
1959 s2 tdi
Both 188 quid full comp per annum with free european breakdown cover
Im 43 so thats got to be some help
Both are classed as classics no mileage limitation
Peter James insurance

96 110CSW
£430 5 yrs NCB
1 fault claim (lost 2 yrs no claims)
all mods declared, 5K agreed value.
limited to 8K miles, usually drive around 6 tho.

I pay £370 for mine fully comp with my girlfriend aswell. I think they classed my 8 years NCB from my car on it though. Thats with 3 points and up to 5k miles a year.

Oh, and for a 1998 300tdi

mines just for me, location plays a big part too, think im classed as high risk in LS19...

Post Code ratings for Car Insurance

It would have been good to have know that list. When I moved to Hampshire, my insurance company at the time (Lancaster) tried to hike my insurance as it was a worse area. The fact that according to the list where I am now is A, and before it was B, so if anything they should have refunded me some money :O

In the end I got a full refund and cancelled the policy as was missold it, but would have been more ammo at the time

2000 110CSW full NCD protected, 56 yo , , SWMBO, own business use, unlimited mileage, £340...... Zurich I think, but have to swap every year as they rip you off on automatic renewals and I never give them the second chance 'we could match that'..... if they were willing to rip me off, I'm offski.....

Maybe its that high risk Island life of yours.......? A

1994 300Tdi 90

49 years old with wife (45) as named driver. Both points free

They wouldn't take my no claims (18 years) into account as second vehicle, but now had the Landy insured for 3 years in its own right

5,000 miles limit, £6k agreed valuation, no mods £183 with Lancaster

Just paid Adrian flux £135 on 2005 90XS, 8yrs NCD, kept on drive, no mods, wife named driver. They gave this to beat renewal quote from existing insurer.

About 180 quid fully comp including business use. The missus has a Volvo estate with no NC on it as we've used it on one of our other vehicles and that's only 180 quid too. My transit is most expensive due to my son being named driver at about 380 quid. So add all three together and it's less that the OP was quoted just for a 90. It's a mad world.

cheers guys! im A on that list, low risk!

Do adrian flux let you use your ncb on a 2nd car? im trying to sell my car so landy will be my main car in the end!
