With RAC, even with full cover, if you need recovery from home, they will only go 10 miles, over that, they charge.

Also depends on where you live... nearest town from here is 30 miles... so if it needs to go to Dealer (warranty etc) then 30 miles it is. They probably keep that quiet so the townies don't complain! :D

I have recovery with GEM that covers me & my wife for any car or bike we own. With 2 cars & 2 bikes it would be very expensive individually with the insurance policies.

+1 Been a member myself since the 'eighties, these days my other-half is also covered as we have two cars, RRC & a daily euro-box.

Check any vehicle age restrictions whatever provider you choose

Liking the stables too btw!

Thank you for all the comment all sorted now. I went with the original quote as its with the current insurance company for my other car so minimal fuss.
I think £170 fully comp insurance and home start and recovery was a reasonable figure. The breakdown cover was with the RAC.

They are nice stables :)

Look at classic car insurance with agreed value and breakdown cover all in one, I paid £130 for all the above, and if I had a second vehicle it would be even cheaper. I am with Lancaster but there are more specialist out there

GEM ,
