hi im new to landy zone and i have been looking into buying a defender 90 and getting insured on it only problem is im 18 and just passed my test so insurance aint cheap any ideas ?

Hi welcome to the zone and do a search or what my mates did was buy a mini and a 90 or a series (i did) restore and get the motor how you want it then in a few years time when you have a few years ncb do it insure your landy and rest in peace that while your mates are paying upwards of 2 grand for a 1 litre 3 cylinder corsa your paying 500 or 600 quid for a classic mini win win and win

Even though you passed your test doesnt mean you can dive, you will properly learn to drive when you go out by yourself so get a small 1L engine car learn how to survive in that for 2 years before getting something that drives like a boat.

thanks for your help guys and sorry i carnt work pc's thats why i didnt check any other posts :doh: but after looking around i found cheap insurance on coop
