My godson, 20 years old, no NCB (he drives like an eejit and has since he passed his test) has to pay around £2,500 pa for insurnace on a Fiat <del>Cincquc</del> (21) thingy, that weighs the square root of bugger all so has limited potential for collateral damage, I'm amazed a nw driver can get insurance for a landy of any variety considering they wont stop if they do hit summat.

you will find that they are both completely useless for your needs, you would be much better using some form of gun.
NCB makes the difference, has he got any points?
By pure good luck (I see no other reason) he does not.
I did work out what it would cost me to insure my Rover 75, if I lost my NCD, it's really quite scary as I now get 70+ (depending on insurer) percent disccount.
My last premium was around £270 fully comp, at 70% NCD that makes my 'real' premium close to a grand. I'm heading for 50 with 3 points on my license for speeding in a 40 zone (please don't go there, almost 3 years on I'm still ****ed over it), no fault accidents against me, the car is worth about 50p
You pay too much what ever car you have at that age its not fair no wonder some of these kids drive with none they are guilty from the start in the insurance companys eyes
