Afternoon, All.

I'm after the part number or a link to the bulb holder that slides into the back of the instruments. I've successfully replaced the original bulbs with LEDs, but one of the actual holders is on the blink. I've got a 1993 200 Tdi.

Just noticed a major typo in the title, but I can't seem to edit it. Bulb holder!!!

Many thanks,

Dom

That doesn't look like the right one, I'm afraid. Mine does not have spade connectors. Thanks for your reply, mind!

Then have a search for the partnumbers attached to items 6 and 15...............;)

Cheers

Any of these, items 12 and 13?

Thank you for your replies. It doesn't appear to be any of these.... I've just put the dash back together or else I'd post a photo. It is the bulb holder for the volt meter, not that I think that makes a difference. It's smooth sided and quite long. The bulbs push into it (or T10 LEDs) and it, in turn, simply pushes into the plastic receiver tube in the back of the instrument.

I think I'll have a go at fettling it off the car. The dash is coming off soon, anyway, so I can fit a new temperature guage that actually gives me a realistic idea of how hot the car is running!

I dont think you can get them separately. Iv put grommets in the holes of my speedo and have just pushed the bulbs in. It's not ideal but works for me. Iv heard of people gluing the tubes back on. Tho heat may cause the bulb to fail. Obviously my speedo is now white light and the other 2 are green. Mine had the wrong bulbs fitted before I got it and melted the plastic. Mines also a 200tdi.

Thanks, Steve. It's the actual bulb holders I'm after, rather than the plastic sleeve that mounts into the back of the instrument.
