Hi there,

I've been very quiet recently as a) my Disco stopped making so much noise at night and b) my misses is pregnant so no money to be spent on the motor of late.

However this leads me to three quick questions.

1. Easy - Recommendations on a baby seat for the Disco, will anyone do, or do i need something special?

2. Tough - My Sat Nav - it's crap. Needs upgrading and need full europe map - the misses is Slovakian and we are taking the nipper over there in 6 months. I had a search on the site and is it as easy as buying new cds and loading them in?

3. Tougher - full use of phone while driving crackdown 0% tolerance - need to sort out that hands free. Last i checked it only worked with Nokia, how do i sort this out so that i works with any bluetooth device?

This is as close as I can get to baby girl shopping and actually have some fun myself...

Please help.

1 - go to halfords, that will let you try them out and see what ones fit.

2 - get a portable unit, so much better than the factory set up and can be used in multiple vehicles.

3 - Get an external bluetooth set, it will be your cheapest option by far, failing that your options will be a dealer or an aftermarket kit and a harness adaptor to splice into your current system.

For options 2&3 you can get sat nav that will double as your phone blue tooth as well.

I use maxi cosi for my daughters car seat but try before you buy and then find it cheaper online. There are loads of baby stores on the net

My cousin has a D3 06 plate, his bluetooth will pair ok with Lg and Samsung phones, perhaps your's has a problem

Sorry cant help on question 1

But yes you can update the sat nav just by buying a new disc. I have the 2011 update disc running in my RR sport which is the same sat nav. Got it from THESE guys. Not sure about coverage for Slovakia though??
