Im thinking of getting a set of Insa turbo dakar tyres 265 75 r16 for my 90, wondered if anyone had any views on what they are like.

going by there discription there a sand biased tire(should be good for mud too)..

but not too much cop for the road..80/20 off/on road useage.

dakkar's are a good tyre, it was a toss up between them and the kuhmo kl71's when i got mine, the only reason the kuhmos won was cos there was a shortage of insas in the country at the time. very good on mud and as good as any other bud tyre on road. not quite as good as the kuhmo's though, ;)

aye saharas are the directional one's yella daker's you can use reverse with :)

i'm ordering a set of the mountins as there at so 50/50 biased

ah reet, ive got directionals on mine, if i dont get enough lock to get in me yard the fust time i have ter go around the block

I have tried Insa tyres 3 times. The first set were Rangers and were great in snow (best ever) then I swopped landys and ended up with a set of mountains which were slightly worse in snow although still acceptable and better on the road. Yesterday I bought a set of Dakars and they seem fine on the road also but they do look like they will be very good in snow and mud. I will report back when it snows.
I swear by Insa Tyres. Value wise they cannot be beaten. Performance wise they are as good as anything.
