could someone explain - decode the number on the plate attached to front passenger inner wing of my 99 reg Dicovery 1 V8?

No idea, I had both my wings of last year when I was doing a repaint, and both inner wing were
Clear of any numbers, mine is a 1990 disco 1
 
Maybe a body commission number? Who made the bodies for LR, was it Pressed Steel Fisher?

I have seen same tag on P38's and it relates to build date but I cannot seem to make sense of my Discovery V8 though

This question has been asked before but the was no concise answer, but the opinion was that it was a build code for Land Rover use only, so now no need for an owner to be worried about it.
I never knew is was there, spot welded on the inner wing be the air filter box until the question which must be around 10 years ago now and I’ve already owned my disco for 15 years.

The code for my disco is the same in the first part of it.
