There is a lot of this 'introduce yourself first' posts on here, before anyone will help, yet when you do if you mention you have a Freelander you get one post or abuse so whats the point? I frequent a lot of car forums and this one is by far the worst for this. Just my 2p.

well its not exactly a big ask for some courtesy is it

What a F***ing waste of time this fourm is most of the reply's are abuse not any help at all, but thanks to the guys who bothered to reply with helpful suggest.

Wow, I think this is the very first 100% prat I have seen on this great forum.

Let's hope he goes forth and multiplies.....

You int special. All Freelander owners get ****e replies off non Freelander owners.

Stick with it and you'll get to know how it works and give back as good as yer gets + some more.

i've turned over a new leaf....get it leaf spring ??? being much nicerer to the gaylanderers these days ;)

i'll take help from anyone who gives it and take quite a lot of abuse from everyone else.
They dunt have to be Freelanderers but they do have to know what they're on about or they're just wasting oxygen.

that's LZ it's a bit like Marmite :)

Just to add to this, if you own a Freelander, you HAVE to have a sense of humour, otherwise the joke is waisted!

I've just had an injector rip itself out of the head on my Td4 (whilst cruising at 70ish on the M40). As my local garage can't drill out the stripped bolts (they've tried) they are going to have to take the head off to get to them! They realise this is a more expensive way of doing it and wanted to know if I really wanted them to carry on as I've spent sooo much on her already (the list is endless..).

It may be worth breaking and selling the parts, but I can't help myself; I'm hooked on her!

Do I need help?

Send a specialist to the garage to do it in situ! Far cheaper
