Hi All,

I have to change a damaged injector but I am seeing two types when looking for the replacement, can someone guide me on the correct one.
My engine : 2.0-litre I4 BMW M47 diesel (2001–2006), badged as 'Td4'

What I am seeing:

1: LANDROVER FREELANDER 2,0 td4 82/80kw 0445110049 7785983
2: DIESEL Td4 2.0L.FREELANDER 02-06. FUEL INJECTOR PART # 8510027

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Weren't there different part numbers for the injectors on manual and automatic TD4s?

That may be completely made up!

Take a look what all the other injectors says, if manual most likely 0445-110-049 it's that last three number you need to take heed of, on the R40 (Rover 75 ) M47 engine they are 0445-110-030

Hi just curious, what's the difference between the injectors for manual and automatic, for instance what might be the possible outcome if you mix the manual with automatic.

From memory the injectors between the manual and auto have different flow characteristics, which means the engine would have an imbalance if a mix if injectors was used.
