Hi all
I've got a F reg 110 and recently the engines been over reving to near blowing up capabilities.

Initially we thought it was the turbo letting engine oil in to the cylinders, but now we've found out that the injector pump is passing (a great deal of) fuel through the vacum pipe directly in to the turbo when warm or cold but intimiantly.

If looks as if a new pump is in order, but i wanted to check that there isn't a simple fix so save me the £500 its going to take to replace it.

Thx

If it is leaking up to the turbo the boost diaphragm on the side of the pump is knackered and that is prob what is causing the problem. If you take the pump to a specialist they can test it and change the part cheaply. Mine has just had a full rebuild with all new internals and it only cost £400. I would sugest rebuilding it.
