Hi, Just joined as I'm considering buying a used TDV6 next year, probably Auto. & SE or HSE spec..
Anything I should know or check?
I would be very grateful to hear about ownership experiences good or bad.

I just drove up the M6 Toll behind one of these and noticed that the ground clearance was about the same as a Vauxhaul Nova, when i got tucked in behins a discovery II or I the th e suspension geometry was completely different and there is enough room to walk a small dog underneath them . So why would anyone get a new Disco TDV6 unless its only for use in the urban jungle?

I imagine, that this is due to the air suspension lowering the car for road use.
Thanks for replying though, first in over a month!

The clearance on the Disco 3 has been improved over both I & II thanks to the air suspension. As mentioned before, the vehicle will lower itself at speed and there is the option to adjust the height according to the terrain. Ground clearance is 240mm on all models with air suspension, 185mm on the base 5 seater with coils!
