Just been renewing some bulbs, including the ones on the small warning panel. Sometimes when I push the indicator arm the trailor light flashes initially once:

Is this normal?

Should it do it everytime I use the indicators?

If it is normal then why does it do it?

I can always just remove the bulb again.

Also is it a legal requirement that when your hazards are on you must have a warning light telling you?

on indicating either way the trailer light flashes once then the indicator light flashes, when the hazards are on only the trailer light flashes continuously. I believe this is correct.

The trailer warning light will usually flash just once unless you have a trailer connected in which case it will flash all the time.
Yes it is a requirement to have a light warning you that the hazards are on however there is one in the switch so that will do.

sorry to hi jack this thread but my trailer light is constantly on any ideas what it could be when i indicate either way it just goes brighter for one flash then back to staying on?
