Have you got a multimeter?

No multimeter!

Just been out and checked everything again all connections look good, but no indicators!

But they intaially worked, then stopped after ii had fitted the voltage stabiliser. But looking at the wiring diagram I can't see how that would effect the indicators.
Quite baffling

Can you get a 12v light and 2 bits of wire? If so connect one side to ground and the other to either side of your indicator flasher. That would let you know if that is working or not.

I have recently replaced my series three indicator switch. The pattern (****part) item had some wires a different colour to the switch I removed.I have never had any problems to sort with auto electrics though, my best mate is an auto electrician........

Checked all connections into flasher unit, no power going to it! When indicating left or right

That's not the same as what I have or what the book says. White will be ground.

Connection on it

C2 green @ purple/pink
49a brown@green
49+ green
C white @blue

Checked all points no power source going to it! Or out of it!

The phot of it was taken prior to it being stripped out, you can still see some burnt wires init.

None of the wiring effected this! Ie replaced.

flasher unit has live feed to it then feed to indicator switch, then out to lights green /red and green /white voltage stabiliser is only for temp guage and fuel guage the only connection with indicators etc is they may be fed from same fuse

In section 86.65.55 of the book there's a drawing of the indicator switch connections. There should be a two terminal flasher unit, one side fed from fusebox the other going to the indicator switch.

yes but im guessing this is an ex MOD which has a slightly different one.

flasher unit should be the same ,hazzard switch makes it a little harder to understand compared to non hazzard types

49/X Flasher input (+)
49a/L Flasher output (+) to lamps or indicator switch
30b Flasher input (+) from hazard switch
31 Earth (-)
C/C1/CP/P Vehicle pilot lamp output (+)
C2 1st trailer pilot lamp output (+)
C3 2nd trailer pilot lamp output (+)
