Hi All,
I've recently resprayed my 90, and on reassembling the indicators they dont seem to function using either the stalk or the hazard switch.
I've followed through this article: Hazard Switch & Indicators - fault diagnosis - Defender Forum - LR4x4 - The Land Rover Forum and have removed the hazard switch to do some tests on the wiring plug that fits on to it.
I've connected "permanent supply" to "left indicators", then on to "right indicators". When I do this the indicator light illuminates on the dash for both, but none of the bulbs on the exterior of the vehicle illuminate? I am missing the indicator bulb on the passenger wing, but I wouldn't expect this to be the cause?
I've not knowingly knocked any other wiring, all I removed for my respray was the indicators, side and main headlights. The side and headlights all work fine.
Does anyone have any bright ideas what could be the cause?
Thanks in advance,
Ollie
