What's that do?

Hello everyone am new here and have got my first ever Freelander. The problem started last week when I indicated to turn right. It blew the F8 fuse and all display went dead. I replaced fuse but it did it again this time indicating left. Blowing flasher relay in the process. Replaced flasher relay only to find when indicating left. Indicators work fine. When indicating right all indicator bulbs flash and both direction light flash on dashboard display. Replaced indicator stalk but same thing happens. Any ideas?

Hello and welcome to the forum and feel free to introduce yourself later. This sounds like an earthing problem. Have a quick search for a wiring diagram for your model.

Thanks for replies. Have checked and cleaned earths under bonnet and behind rear trim. Had a look for earth under centre console but can not seem to find it. Anyone know where it should be? Hazard switch seems to be working fine. Indicators still playing up.

Update on indicator problem. After checking and re-checking all earth connections. Ended up taking it to a local auto-electrician. He too was puzzled after a couple of hours checking electrics and speaking to landrover. Looked like problem was in the fuse box or ccu. Got a replacement off Ebay and so far problem solved. Seller also sending me the alarm key fob as mine no longer programmed to CCU.

Thanks for letting us know always nice to find one answer out of many ...
