Put a new pump in my td5 defender tank this afternoon.
Paid ian @ irb to cut the floor above the tank a few years ago & fit a removable cover.
Its the only way swapped in an hour & running again & a quiet pump for the first time in a couple of years & starts first time it was getting harder & harder to start,& fitted a new diesel filter.
I have done the standard way of dropping the tank .
