Hey, so this might seem like a bit of an odd one (check the pic) but I need this trailer house project delivered to a customer, and I don't have the correct towing license to do so. Its a 16ft trailer, under 7ft wide I think, but about 3.7m tall on the highest side. Weighs in at about 2.3 ton. Light board will be fitted. All new brakes on the trailer, and its about 10 mins off the junction 18 exit, starting from NP12 area South Wales. If anyone is interested just let me know a price and when you could do it.

Is there a time scale on needing this and where does it need to go to?
My mum lives in the valleys north of Bridgend so would be kind of driving past you to get to her, but not sure when I will be next down.

Hey, I texted him to ask about a more specific address as that's all he said to me. Preferably sometime in the next 2 weeks would be best if possible.

That would not be a huge detour on my way back to Warwick so would easily be doable. Unfortunately I am unlikely to be heading down in the next couple of weeks as she is coming up to me next week. The next time I am in that part of the country is likely to be early-mid July. Let me know if you don't manage to arrange transport earlier.

On a serious note, and notwithstanding the above, it probably won’t cost much more to just do your trailer test than it will cost to transport this item.

One hell of a favour ;)
Although bit more to it than just the license, I've got it on limited insurance temporarily, and also I don't feel my brakes are up to it till it gets a new servo.. or god knows what it is that's broke :p
Cost ain't a problem for me buyer is covering, so going to keep looking.. I can't say I know many people who've actually taken the trailer test but it's such an odd trailer i wouldnt risk it :confused:

It depends on how much you are likely to tow as to if the cost of the license will be worth it. I didn’t take my trailer test for a car I went and did a class 1 test. I already had my class 2 and was beginning to go banger racing so wanted to tow a car trailer behind the Land Rover. For me there was only about a £200 differance in the cost of the course and test so I was an easy decision. If you are just going to take a car test is it a lot of money for only a small benefit.
 
Wouldn't fancy it on a windy day.....and tying it down could be interesting. Otherwise pretty straight forward. Pity it is too far away for me! :D
