How easy is it to remove the fascia to replace a blown led, behind the ventilation controls.
Its a 2005 freelander

cheers

Is the 2005 the facelifted version?

Pre facelift, you just pull off the heater knobs and undo some screws. 45 second job. All described in the Haines manual (but this may not cover the facelifted vesrion)

Cheers

I have just had to take the dash off on my face lift model.

Remove the 4 screws under the lid of the centre arm rest and remove the top.
You will see 2 large silver screws at the back, remove these.
Directly under the hand brake lever you will see a plastic flap, remove this.
You will see 2 more screws, remove these.
Either side of the dash tunnel between the driver & passenger you will see a torx head screw, remove from either side.
Above the radio is a piece of plastic, pull this towards you (needs a bit of force), you will see 2 screws, remove these.
Jiggle it about and the centre dash will slide out.
