I have a two inch rev counter but it goes to 7000 rpm so not much use on a diesel.
centre console is going so gauges will have to go on the bottom rail somehow. Dont want it too fancy when l sell : )
You never know when that 7000 RPM tach will come in handy on an old diesel, maybe just before it goes into outer space high orbit.

I've decided on from left to right...
Speedo, temperature, boost then volts
Gauges in the centre on the bottom rail will be, Fuel, Clock and start button plus a couple of spotlight switches

Sorted wiring out today so ready for soldering it all together and tidying everything up. : )

Cant help there sorry but my 200tdi has part of a windscreen washer jet (connector facing out) put into the core plug at the end of the inlet manifold, works a treat and measures manifold pressure rather than pressure at the turbo : )

How would you connect a boost gauge to a TD5?

There are various options. Some of the EGR blank kits on the market have a little pipe coming out of the piece of tube that replaces the EGR. Some people T into the pipe that works the wastegate actuator. There's a school of thought that it's best the closer you get to the inlet valves and drill and tap a hole in the manifold.

@lightning I used this on both my 90 and 110, easy to fit gives the most accurate reading without drilling and tapping anything. Reads within 1psi (Stack gauge) to my Nanocom.

Though as Brown said you can also tap it with a T-piece (usually come with the gauge) on the turbo actuator line.
