Something to be aware of when using an impact gun, you need decent sockets on the end of it, crap sockets, extension bars or wobbly bits will absorb the impacts rendering the gun underpowered. You would be surprised how much power gets lost through an extension bar.
Any views on the ryobi 18v 400nm. At £130ish ?
Occasional use and 3 year warranty on wrench, charger and battery. Might be worth a punt.Im sure it will do the job, but we have ryobi at work, about 4/5 different tools and there is always one being repaired or replaced!
Hi I have had a Ryobi 400nm for a few years and it has done everything I have asked of it , Still going strong and used on all of my classics .Any views on the ryobi 18v 400nm. At £130ish ?
I had completely forgotten about buying one of these. Bit of a monster. It can destroy non impact sockets in seconds, way too much torque for general use as it's all or nothingI bought one of these, it's bit of a big beast but i only needed for a couple of jobs in the garage. £60 and 450nm

I bought one a couple of years ago and its great - at the moment i only really use it for undoing wheel nuts - i live in Sweden and we have summer and winter tyres, so is something that really saves time vs doing it with a normal wrench. I originally bought it mainly for changing our cars tyres, but tried it on my landy and works fine with those too.Any views on the ryobi 18v 400nm. At £130ish ?
which makita model is it ?Makita. Ive used mine almost daily for work over the past 18 months as well as everyjob on my landy. Works flawlessly
Not the most powerful on the market but its light and small enough to chuck in a toolbag. Happily undoes wheel nuts
