Everything was working fine, left to stand over winter , first turn of the key this year it started then five min later the alarm started to go off, now it wont turnover & the alrm keeps going off inc the 4 way flashers!!
Is thier anyone out there who can help me please?e
Tried disconnecting & reconnecting battery.
Tried eka code 1515
Tried to find the imobiliser ( couldnt find it!!)
Checked all fuses that i can find

but why did you post under the Disco 2 section if it's a '92 Disco 1 though? ... anyway, find out the proper EKA from a main dealer and use it...that 1515 thing is pure boll*x

Why do u think U need to have a EKA immobilising code? When a1992 disco was built it had manual immobilising, EKA was introduced with the 1996MY disco passive system so forget dealers.

We assume you don't have a fob but you will find a U have a micro switch on the rear of the drivers door lock barrel this or the operating cam could be faulty there for no remobilising the engine.

So u need to remove the door card for a look, also U could simply override the system if u have a Tdi engine, how to do that has been mentioned before if u search

Is your alternator charging? Perhaps the battery isn't being charged and you were draining the battery and after 5 mins the alarm sense the drop in voltage.
I ended up pulling the plug out the back of the siren so it wouldn't annoy the neighbours when the alarm goes off.
Don't bother roping out the middle dash looking for the spyder thingy as I don't believe yours won't have it.
Passenger side foot well, remove the panel on the left and find a few of relays. When my immobiliser is playing up I can hear the relay clicking. Get some one to turn the key, listen for the clicking and touch them to find the one. Test that to make sure it's working okay. A voltmeter and nine volt battery will assist you in checking it.
When you say it won't turn over do you mean that when you turn the key to start, there is nothing ie the engine won't turn over.
Also when I had problems the other month and my immobiliser was playing up with a dead battery and all that, I wound down the drivers window and locked then unlocked the car and reached through and put the key in the ignition and see if it was still dead. Done that a few times and it seemed to sort itself out and turned over.

Fozzie.
