I left the Range Rover for a few days this week and when I went back to it the fob wouldnt unlock the doors. It was lighting up when the buttons were pushed but nothing was happening.
I unlocked the door with the key and the car wouldnt start,
''Engine immobilised. Press key''
After persistanly pushing the fob buttons, unlocking and locking the door, it finally burst into life.
I took it a run for gas and the fob was working fine when stopped but this morning it was back to sitting in the car pushing buttons for 10mins until the immobiliser went off.
Will this just be the batterys in the fob going flat or is there any reason why the car doesnt recognise the signal after being left overnight?
