Hi all,

LR discovery 2, 2.5 TD5 manual.

Issue:
Turned over but battery went dead before it started.

Replaced the battery- the alarm went off- the key fob, or placing the key in the ignition, wouldn't switch it off or start the car.

Replaced the key fob battery

Tried again, now the dash lights up, a beeping noise starts and there is a crossed B on the dash.

Presumed immobiliser issue, tried to do the key reset EKA code but the barrel lock is broken on the drivers door.

Took the locking mech out including the door handle and black electronic box actuator. Tried turning the actuator with a screw driver (where the barrel lock would normally turn it) - nothing. Replaced the actuator- nothing

Tried all threads on google, at a complete loss.

Please help!!

searc this forum for "crossed B" e.g a relevant one Please Help - No Crank No Start even though this is not something related to the Td5 engine and let the EKA alone cos in this case it's useless
