For the last 3 years i have been in Asutralia using my Disco 3 and have been locked down because of covid and other commitments but i will finally be back in the UK where i will have to get my 2 Range Rovers back on the road and i think i will have to sell one of them if not both .
I dont know what condition they are in but they have been in a lock up with all the spares i have for them. When i left them they were both MOT and fully operational. I had them for extensive travel and they have been places like Mongolia China and Russia and any faults were imedialy fixed .
Both are 1999 diesels and both are red ,
I will be landing in the UK 5 th june and will post some more when i have checked then out and MOT them

Welcome home . Will get the old yellow ribbons out :)

I arrived back and have started to sort the cars out and get them back up and working.
Thebatteries were flat so and so was one tyre .
I charged the batteries and the car started first crank of the engine so then i pumped the tyre up and put it in gear and it went in reverse
Next job was to wash it and its come up good.
The suspensin worked and no faults showed on the dash.
I cannot road test it as it has no registration or insurance or MOT.
Today i will get the other one started and ready to roll .
As i am getting past my use by date i wil have to sell both of them as i wont be in the uk to make full use of them anymore and hope i can find a good home for them. i also have a shed full of spares for them as i carried them when i took th car to remote places like Russia Mongolia China Usbekistan Turkey to name just a few.
i will post on the for sale part of this forum when i have got them going and a list of everything i have.i will be sad to see them go as they are still in good condition and rust free as they have not been used near salt water or salted roads .
For the short periods that i will be in the uk i will hire a vehicle.
This dosent mean i will be leaving the Land Rover comunity as i havs a Discovery 3 in Australia where it is used as a land rover should belike on Fraser Island (K'Gari) and Morten Island and hopefully in the future across the french line and up the Canning Stock Route.
