The hole is on the top of it unfortunately so it's gotta come off one way or another, did think of just wire brushing it all and welding a patch on but no luck thereCould the tank be brazed or welded in situ? That would save a lot of grief

New tank is already on its way to me so as long as the compressor lasts a few more days I'll be golden....(Famous last words I know)
I mean, I guess, I'll see what I can do but no promisesBut thats the point, we all have issues, its a "how do you manage it" that helps others.
I faffed for ages trying to ease bolts out with them still shearing off, sometimes just getting rid and starting again is quicker.
But would also say a thread is needed walts an all
