G-man BBQ king Feb 20, 2011 #2 remove the cowl, drill centres out of the shear bolts that hold the lock use easy out to remove bolts, remove lock, replace with new item

B ben.suffolk Active Member Feb 21, 2011 #6 I found a center punch and A big hammer got bolts turning quite easily. So no need to drill etc Once that's off you can take the switch off the back of the barrel and use a screwdriver etc to turn it. Best not leave it like that for long though or you have done half the job for a thief!
