If I had £500 I would treat my 90 to a new set of boots, still don't know what to go for, Insa turbo rangers are looking good so far.

Yes you have to cut the actuator rod a little.

As i said above i disconnected the wastegate out of curio to see what the max it could boost to and it was 1.6 bar and that was not a std engine.
I would be very surprised if the std turbo could actually generate that amount of pressure.

For me comes down to where you want to focus:
- cosmetic
- performance
- upgrade (suspension, brakes etc)
- security
This of course relies on everything mechanical/chassis being as it should be and everything working - now there's an aspiration
Also, what do you use the Landy for? e.g. if loads of off roading, do you add a winch?
Personally, if it's all working as it should, I'd leave well alone and enjoy it - it'll find a way for you to spend that £500 soon enough all by itself!
