As the title says
Someone talk sense to me please:cool:
I have £500 to spend on tweaks etc
have done suspension and happy with that job.....

Should I do bodywork ...... or get a Allisport BIG intercooler?:)
I thank you

Just turn the turbo up on the acuator to 1 bar and it will be the same as buying a intercooler then add more fuel by tweaking the pump you will be happy with the result but don't over-do it on either or it won't end pretty

Sible,
you are right on the nose with your thoughts....i.e. why I am considering large intercooler. I have done 3 IP tweaks (star wheel etc) have upped the turbo to just under 1 bar on my gauge....am thinking to get the best response I need to cool the air to the turbo better (also a bit scared of high temp on exhaust!)

Just under 1 bar?? They are 1 bar standard?!? I was running 3 bar but only for 10 mins :-( that's why I said don't go too far!

I forgot ...interior! New seats perhaps?

Do you want to look at your landy or enjoy it? A few people will create the most lovely 100% restored vehicle and then be concerned about enjoying it.
Keep it well serviced and change all your oils and fluids and then buy a ferry ticket and drive up Scandinavia and see the Northern Lights.
Far better than looking out on your drive after polishing a non worker :)

I got mine before n after,d for not a lot more, 5 year guarantee!!

You have to be ****ing joking! Try and honour that guarantee with the tosser after 3 years - he will squirm like a girl!

Before and after is a COMPLETE waste of time and money, you can do a better job in half an hour with a couple of cans of waxoyl.

He is a cowboy who does a half hearted job badly, is rude and threatening to anyone who questions him and is about as dishonest as they come! You should be able to tell this just form the adverts, but if you can't then please don't get sucked in by it - you might as well have posted £500 into a drain!

If I had £500 to spend on my Landy I'd stick with what I've got and go on a bloody long drive using £500 worth of doosel. Enjoy what you've got I say. :D:D

Amen to that. All of the Scandanavian countries are worth seeing and the people are super friendly. Oh and the Northern Lights are none to shabby either. Take your thermals though as you need to go way north to see them properly.

3 bar on a 200/300 are you sure?, most ive ever seen is 1.6 and this was chipped and intercooled, wastegate actuator disconnected.
Only the 300 is 1 bar std 200 is 0.75/80 bar as std.
I think i would keep the money in the bank as somethings bound the break sooner or later!
A nice pair of heated front seats would be good for the winter.
