I've googled and googled but can't find what I'm looking for... would somebody have an idea what wheel is this? It's 7x15, markings say only "Made in England", "X-ray" and "B 1570 Y".

Can't really help you with manufacturer, do look a lot like a compomotive design, the b 1570 y bit is probably the design code 'b' is for wide 1570 is the loan rating 1570lb and 'y' being the speed rating?

I assume these are fitted on a series or fender

they remind me of the old wolfrace rims

Remind me of the wheels on the General Lee, Vectors..

I'd have also gone for Compomotive's or Wolfrace's off the top of my head, but any I've had in the classic Ford world have always been clearly stamped..

They look like wolfrace to me as well they had some on flee bay couple off days ago I think they look great

I have a set of these in the 'for sale' section (with photos) and they are Wolfrace turbovane but mine do have Wolfrace stamped in the rim. They are also 7 x 15, http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f62/wolfrace-alloys-7j-x-15-a-273622.html

blimey I've even impressed myself for remembering , what a very lucky guess,

useto work for John brown wheels as a saturday boy in Croydon back in the 80's, lol
