We have a 1998 Freelander but when I come to think about it I don't know exactly which model it is: XE/GS/etc.

Is there any way to tell? I have the chassis number if that helps.

Haven't had it long and have yet to receive the new V5 from DVLA.

Well, by going from what I can glean from the web and what I know of the car I reckon it's an XEi.

Quicky Ambriel, has it got Hill descent and Aircon? if so its prob as you say an Xe(d)i....hope its not a 1.8.....:(

Hello Hatters dear,
Yep, still here, see the list below, still fightin on...:( T'other motor at the mo is a J plate bee-emm 318 wiv 240K on't clock.Gonna scrap her at the end of the month, so after a 5 series touring. It'll mean the GL can go back to local hauls, but must say 3 months of troggin up and down the A1 at 85 hasn't half blown the cobwebs out of the GL, seems to be going as good as ever...

Mind you, a car fire at times is still bloody tempting....:p
