Hi guys
Last week I bought a 1999 V reg P38a. On the tailgate it says it’s a vogue SE but on the V5 it says it’s an HSE.
It has an electric sunroof, ac, heated electric seats, wood trim everywhere, stone leather seats with different beading.
It’s a 4.6 by the way.
Bit confused which it is, can you help????

@Saint.V8 has the bible on this.

I think that Vogue came in as a trim level around '99. Prior to that it was HSE. However, I suspect that you could add optional extras to the extent the trim badge doesn't mean a lot. Saint will know for sure though.

It might be ypurs was built as an HSE but by the time it was sold Vogue had been brought in and the badge was added before sale.

I thought vogue was the top of the top and you couldn't get better than "everything". I'm confused....
Again... :rolleyes::p

I’ve sent him a pm thanks

I have a diesel lump, which has a Vogue badge.

It also has a Supercharged badge, that for some reason previous owner put on.
Don't believe badges :)

Any news on your @gold rover?
Now waiting on one more part :(
I am becoming less patient. I trust the guys at Gibsons , and do not for a second blame them. They have just been slowed down by other companies, and now by one of their main players having to isolate for two weeks, after being being caught in the latest restrictions. However, I am now having to say enough!
The Golden Girl has been gone since 17th September, she was already booked in for 27th September. They knew, since March, she needed certain parts, and would be in as soon as restrictions were lifted. Sooooo seven weeks , and no vehicle, is starting to get wearing.
I am reliant on the kindness of nearby neighbours for meds delivery, and small, local, supermarket for food deliveries. God forbid anything happens to the dog, as I wouldn't be able to get to vet's.
They have two more weeks, then they will be outside, what I believe to be a 'timely manner' ;)

@gold rover hope you get her back soon.
Now we know why people say if you buy a LR product make sure you have a backup. And don't park the backup behind the LR product.
Normally, I always had a back up. However, personal events, of the last year, had me take my eye of the ball. Then , in the middle of it all covid makes an appearance, stopping me being able to go,out an buy a runaround. So I am stuck 11 miles from nearest village , with no transport.
So long as the dog is ok, I can survive. Now off to bubblewrap the dog.

Yes that is a Vogue SE it was meant as a special edition model it came out Feb 1999 to August 1999, it will have unique seats and premium sound plus body coloured bumpers a gold pinstripe down the side most have 18" proline alloys later August 99 models had Hurricane wheels due to prolines being low supply there were a total 30 Rioja red examples built in August 1999..

It'll have the Thor V8

So quite rare..

it is a very pretty HSE in essence

Thank you for that it’s made my day. The more I tinker with the car the more rewarding it is. It feels like a keeper to me
