Its an 02 vogue with screen and stuff.

Just wondered about making better use of it.

The tv only works when parked and needs better reception.

GPS could be better.

Would like to plumb a dvd into it.

I have got a large lump of plastic with 2 speakers set into it, just wired and sat in boot space. Where should it be?

Cheers

The TV is only supposed to work when its parked FFS or do you think that watching eastenders as you drive home, is the epitome of safe driving??

a more pointed question would be to ask you why you think you need to watch TV while the vehicle is moving

Who said anything about watching tv on the move.

If I was going to then I would and don't think a member of a public forum would change my view on the subject, pointed or otherwise.

Yeah - I thought that was my job?

and I think the kid they were talking about was on the outside of your screen if your were concentrating on watching the TV, rather than the road.
Why not fit acpuple of screens on the back of the front seat - ypo kids can then watch in peace, while you concentrate on the driving.
As an advanced driving instructor you, of course, would not wish to be distracted from your driving - would you?

Very presumptuous of you.

That won't happen.

I don't see how me asking about ice upgrades has got as far as seeing a kids brain squirting through my screen.

And for one the kid would be in the back in a seat strapped in. For two I am an advanced driving instructor with 20 years experince teaching both car and bike.

Can we now get back to upgrades as there has never been any mention by me of driving with a tele or any thing else on. Or should we go down the who smokes whilst driving or eats a sandwich and persecute those too.

can i just remind you of one of your previous comments which to me certainly gives the impression that you intended to - why else would you want to disable that feature ?

And remind you that who said anything about watching tv on the move.

You did. Your OP said the tv only works when parked up. to know that you would of had to have tried to have the TV switched on whilst the vehicle was in motion.

And remind you that who said anything about watching tv on the move.

come on then Mr ADI ........

"The tv only works when parked and needs better reception"

If it's not parked what other state could it be in ?

or did the Mrs kick you out and your wanting to watch the TV with the ignition off ?
