its part of the air flow meter, take the air box off, big black thing at the back of the engine held in with 5 5mm allen bolts, the air flow meter is on the left hand side (viewed from front) next to the air filter

As clutchdust says, its part of the same component, so you cant just change the air temperature part
What do youi need to find that bit for? If you dont mind me askin.
Mondo I have heard that you can replace the IAT sensor with a £5 chip and this will give you between 5-30bhp without losing fuel economy, so I wondered where the sensor was and if it is easy to get too.

I've heard you can get a resistor mod your on about But i would'nt bother to be honist.
Try unpluggin yer maf and see if it makes any difference
