Afternoon folks:).

We have been having better weather here and the sun has been out.
Keep looking at the pool thinking, but no its a bit early, but its close;).

We have decided to spend some of the "slush fund" and get some help in to do the East wing. I have to admit I am flagging and what I can do in 2 days is still less than 2 guys working together could do in 1.
I will still need to keep an eye on them and do some stuff, but wiring and plumbing dont need 2 guys.

Our walnut trees seem to be sprouting some new growth after suffering from our late snow so thats good, not sure how many nuts we will get this year though.

But summer is coming:D.

Tech getting on my bits today.
Decided to test my noo phone with its noo Tesco mobile Sim. Rang our landline with Wi-Fi off, obvs.
Got a message from Orange saying the number was "unattributed".
Rang a friend in Normandy, on his landline, from the same mobile It worked fine, had a lickle chat and a laugh.
Got W to ring our landline on her iPhone. Worked just fine.
The landline has previously been used to ring W's hairdresser and she rang us back on it, so it works for other peeps landlines.
As a last resort, tried ringing our landline from my old faithful Tesco mobile phone what I has had for donkey's years. This time got the same message as on my new mobile.

So the only common factor seems to be using Tesco PAYG Sims. Although my new one did ring the mate in Normandy.
No logic that I can see to this at all.
And each time I dialled the actual number, didn't get it from list of contacts or nowt.
And of course prefaced it with 00 33 and removed the next 0 from the number, so as if calling from the UK.
I intended getting a Frog mobile Sim to go in my noo mobile anyway, but don't want to be tied in to their horrible way of running tariffs. No guarantee that would solve the prob anyway.

GRRRRR

What is the '00 33'?

Should it not be '+33' on a mobile?

You dial '+44' to ring the UK from foreign climes.

Well bathroom inspector came, accused be of breaking the toilet flush and loosening the tile trim on purpose, he said the door with a quarter inch gap at the top, creaking hinges and not fitting the frame is fine.
He also complained that the job had been signed off was now costing extra money ffs.
