Well that is hilarious cos when I met W she had a pampas grass in front of her place.
And in France we have a whole row of them down one side of our land!
🀣🀣🀣🀣
Neither of us had ever heard of this thing.
They, her and her ex, had planted it to try and stop the clumsy old dear who lived next door driving over their lawn.
It didn't work very well. By the time she and I got together and moved back into her place we had decided to build a low wall with a reinforced pillar opposite her garage, that worked! So the whole lawn flower beds and pampas came out. Lots of lovely room for our motors!!

Pampas grass is old hat.

It's a pineapple in the window these days.

Allegedly

Such a shame.
I do not know what base you used for your creation. Not a 4x4 one I have to assume.
It would look brill with a period caravan, not that I doubt you have not thought about that before.
Wot about a hidden winch on the front and a ground anchor or two? Not ideal by any means.
I very much remember when my D1 was stuck with all 4 wheels spinning, despite difflock, on flat but soaked grass outside my dottir and son in law's house. The standing water was awful. AND the tyres were All Terrains. We got it out with the winch on his 90 and he had to be stropped to a tree. The right tyres help but they only help, they don't fix the problem.

Afternoon folks:).

Been over at friends house today doing wiring, yep am allowed to do that here:p. I ran wires a while ago.
So today managed to get the Fusebox in and all wired up except the feed to the outside building. Switch on the wall for the Immersion heater and 1 socket.
So its lights tomorrow and a second socket, then see if I got it right and connect to the main fusebox;).

It has been a chilly day here and think the temps have sure taken a turn. But got the flames going in the big box in the corner so we are cosy:). Hope everybody else is.
We are going Veggie tonight, Cauliflower cheese with beans, Love it.

Fanks.
Trust me I wont be testing it with my finger, I use my tongue it starts the heart quicker :p. I have a trusty meter and know where to stick the probesπŸ€”.
I have no issue with wiring but this European stuff is a PITA. But its safe.
Some of the stuff I have seen here I wouldn't plugin more than a phone charger;).
