My yeti was an absolute joke.
Not really a serviceable vehicle for what they are supposed to be.
Sell em and stay with land rover
Huh. I tried for 3 months and couldn’t find a decent one, would have been happy to find one with a good body and spend (say) £3000 on rebuilding the transmission. Plenty of “not the usual rubbish” ads, none of it true. Add to that the road tax now being double what my Yeti’s is and the amount of Hippohate on here anditstartedto be an unhappy quest. The Yeti doesn’t have the same character as my much missed F1 but it’s ok so far.
(Sits back while my post is edited to include dull and unimaginative accusations of homosexuality.)

Having driven both I would only ever have a range rover now.
I don't care .
Yeti was good but un workable.
FL was worse ...

So range rover

Not wealthy (fuel, road tax, repairs. My common road trips are 1000 - 1500 miles.)
Not enough room to park it
Four working dogs
Too luxurious
You may have sufficient bearer bonds to fund a Range Rover but I don’t.
I put dogs and shovels in mine along with barbed wire, metal bars and cans of diesel.
I have also put digger buckets in it and filled it up with gravel loose.
It's very practical, cheap enough for work and very reliable

I fell today...tripped over a bit of metal sticking up & done a superman :oops: landed on another bit of metal, right across
my stomach so should be a belter of a bruise, wrist & left ankle got it too. lucky I had my fireman's boots & a big jacket
on or my ankle would be in a right mess.

Although there's a lot of sniggers and "hippohate" style bandinage on LZ, they are a capable vehicle and if I did not have a P38 I would be tempted.
