Nope, they’ll adjust my tax code again and set my personal allowance at £12500 - £2000 again. They have invited me to go online a pay it in a oner

Mate, that’s very helpful and something I had not considered
In the past we used a specialist tax accountant.
He saved us thousands. to do with allegedly owed back tax on a property we sold which had been my primary residence. They argued that it wasn't but couldn't really prove it, and I couldn't really prove it was. Ended up paying a tenth of what they were demanding, still £5k though. and W had phoned the tax office at the time to get them to give her a decision. They said it was OK.
Seven, SEVEN feckin years later they got onto us.

Well finished the crispmus cards today, and left one for Gerry the postman with a £5 in it. He thanked us and told us to tell everybody to get everything in the post as soon as poss cos it'll be chaos this year.
He has been told they will be concentrating on parcels, when he offered to take the round out even on strike days, they said "no you'll be on parcels.".
W then went out to post everything except the stuff for Frogland.
