The sun's doing its best to yawn into action although it is still early so I am hopeful of another sunny and pleasantly warm day. Oil boiler 'ad its service and is chugging along merrily - hopefully for another year.
Today's challenge is to get some tyres for Monday's MOT. I could just wait a bit but I know the front ones would be an advisory with the rear ones not far behind. So far, I have been quoted between £540 and £625 for the same tyres.
And the weather forecast for your neck of the woods for the weekend is dire ...

Just been 10 miles from home & done a collection. No time to see the Mrs.... as she’s mot in again(horse events)

I've just had a check and it doesn't seem bad to me! Sunshine and showers with temperatures around 18c, so I'm still 'appy.

I’m more shocked.... the horse box lorry passed its test today. No advisoriesIt has turned out rather warm here too. I have been out this afternoon and the aircon in the Koleos was quite nice
I just hope all this good luck lasts until Monday when my car has its MOT.
I can't find a crossed fingers one.

Chap also takes this in for us. Yep it’s an expensive way to do things but it passes.

Tis the foggy lite ive not read the rest of the thread no doubt someone will have given you an answer.
Evening all roof job was off today, went to pick up some acro props then dropped them off
at the house but they were having family over so wanted a quiet time.
Ended up taking the digger to another site and watched the lads work whilst I was sitting in
the sun & chatting on the phone. I feel goosed

I have my car looked after by the main LR dealer and it is them who organises the MOT so I THINK it is in their best interests not to have failures. I will have put new tyres on it as they said, in reply to my question, that the front ones would come up as an advisory and the rear ones wouldn't be long after.
