The gilt was knocked off that gingerbread (!) by having to walk out to the Chipmunk strapped to your chute. It made you bend over and waddle like a duck! and only those who have had to do it will know what that was like!!

I think I might pop to B&Q today and see if they've got any cheap cordless lawn-mowers in stock or even a manual old-skool mower.
Ow's this for a laugh!
Yessdi decided to finish off cleaning the chandeliers, had done the first one and it looked lush. So did egzactly the same with other two. But the first one still seemed to cast more light.
So repolished all the fecking baubles, all 37 of 'em and the little crystal bits in the chains, on the second and third.
Still no feckin difference.
So finally took the bulbs out of the first one, (there are only 3). two were 40 watt the other one 25 watt.
All should have been 25 watt.
Duuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhh!
The others were all 25s!
Do wonder what the heck we are going to do when these sorts of bulbs become unobtanium, as they sit so close together they nearly touch.
