I would like it to have walls and a roof........ I am not fussy about the rest but I expect Mrs Landy will be a bit more particular!Roughly 3 months to do the ground work & get it wind an water tight, depends how fancy you want it.
You can get these timber log cabins put up in a few days but take time to construct.Starting Monday may be a bit of a problem, I haven't paid for the land yet

They would't give me a mortgage now, I am a lazy layabout with no income! It would be cash all the wayOh so she wants to decorate it in 2 months haha The trouble atm is materials everywhere is short
all across the board. The kit will be put up with windows & a roof ie wind and water tight, then start
on the inside. The block work can wait, ideally you dont want to be starting this going into winter.
House up the road from us was started a year ago and they are dragging there heels due to the
shortage of materials. Other option for you is get a self build mortgage and rent somewhere whilst
your new home is being built. You get stage payments throughout the build. Once its built just pay
it off and your not shelling out your funds from your house sale right away.
I do, the mrs has other ideas!!So you just want a barn?
