Glad to hear it.
Last thing we want to hear is that you're in the hospicle posting from a bed in an ICU again.
I'd have said you need to be very clever about subbing jobs out unless you really trust their work.
Meanwhile "yes" to the rest of it and not a "no" to the subbing out, just a qualified "yes".
Look after yourself, mate!;):):):)

Cheers buddy :):)
No I dont want to be back in an ICU again , tis hard to find people you trust to do a good job
been there before:rolleyes:, I know a lot of decent lads all local. I'll only give out small jobs & give a
daily rate paid at the end of each day.

Don't know too much about it but as soon as you start employing peeps it's a nightmare these days. Have to give/offer them a pension etc. Hopefully they will see the "advantages" of being self-employed!:)
Have you seen the @gstuart thing on treating your deck with washing up liquid? I did tag you on it, fecking hilarious!:D:D:D

Couldn't agree more.

Knee jerk reaction of bosses in big companies,= blame the feck out of others/the small men/women etc. Don't let on there's a problem.
THEN fiddle things like feck to avoid the truth coming out and blow what happens to the little person.
So often Wifey was employed to "prove" a system was robust and she found out the complete opposite!
She was once so disbelieved she insisted on the company calling in IBM to test the system. They said exactly what she said and left the company with a flea in its ear.
Quite a tough job that not many want to do and few can do well.
But I don't need to tell you that!;)
Its not fully understood how far royal mail and fujitsu looked into the problem. Possibly something we will never know. They have their own internal 'police' investigates for dishonesty etc. They never gave out info on their investigations like what they found or how they tested the system to double check. In the majority, the system works. The fault is an extremely occasional blip, that creates a financial mistake. We're talking needles and hay stacks ere. The system works for millions of transactions, with an occasional blip. Most losses never matches any if the transactions. So its not like you added 5 sovs to a balance and it added 10 by mistake.

Right some stupid bint ruined my day....

Had a bump with the D1 towing my trailer..... driving along the shore road (b road) 40mph
driver in front just stopped no hazarded lights or indicators, I indicated started to pass her
then she decided to swerve across into me o_O ffs my bull bar crushed the rear door of the
rav I couldnt go anywhere as id be down a verge into trees.
First admitted it then once she moved her motor came out an said I must have been driving
too close an she wouldnt be bullied into admitting fault. wtf :mad:
Why did she stop.....as there were ducks on the road got all her details an now need to let
the insurance sort it. Didnt even take the paint off mine.

Interesting!
Obvs I do not know the details and you seem to know a lot more about it. I got the (wrong) impression it was a lot easier to chase up than a needle in a haystack situation.
But still some poor beggars committed suicide over it or went bankrupt or ended up in clink, so heads should flipping roll.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Yup very funny I did reply I'll go back an catch up. :D

I hope you are right.
I saw a worrying thing on the news where there may be a loophole they could use to avoid prosecution.:(:(:(
Common sense says you are right but the courts don't know what that means.
Time will tell but I have everything crossed for them!:):):)
It's said some of the claims could be difficult as the post masters admitted fault when asked to make up the loss themselves. You have to imagine a situation of inspectors turning up to look through yer books. Then yer told its wrong and cornered. Argue and yer lose yer post office counter. So things may be more difficult for some. Admitting the loss is your fault... kind of admits guilt of stealing. So there's some technicalities involved. One would hope royal mail do the right thing.

Peeps have lost personal wealth. Houses and marriages. Lost other jobs or not been able to work. It's hard to justify the financial response to that. Money won't fix some of it.

Followed it out of interest. Quite a big court case at the time. Peeps saying they did nowt wrong... but got caught out in the process. The little peep being trapped by the big commercial company who was the rule creater. Bastids.

I "liked" this in sympathy.
Do you have dash cam footage?
Hope so.
Is the the road running up the western side of loch Lomond?
(Just a wild guess!)
It sounds like she drove into you, but if you were on the other side of the road when it happened.......
This is why I have a tendency to hoot when passing someone I have even the faintest idea might not have seen what I am up to, but that won't help you.
Glad to know no one is hurt and your Disco is OK.
Yesterday was waiting for a long line of traffic to pass, at a junction, the last two vehicles were approaching, both put their indicators on to turn into the road I was going to pull out of, first one pulled into the road the other carried on past then pulled into the petrol station a bit further up.
If I had believed him, I'd have pulled right into the side of him. Asshole.
This happens sooooooo often.
Advanced driving technique. "Never believe an indicator".
So, near miss to me, hit to you, sadly. Serves her right for driving a hairdresser's car!
Sympathies mate.:(:(:(:(:(
Have a rum on me!:):):):):)

Quite!
I don't know exactly why I am feeling this so personally, it hasn't affected anyone I know.
But it just makes my blood boil.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

because it was a disgusting abuse of ordinary hard working folk ,when the knew there was an issue but till ruined peoples lives
Agree totally with that. Maybe it just doesn't happen too often.
And also I find peeps who run small post offices work their fecking nuts off for very little money and round here they are really nice decent people. :(:(:(
