Alarm clock has woken me up but won’t turn off.
Banging on the wall is not helping. Sounds like neighbours have a new clock.

The sun 'as got 'is 'at on, again. We're going to pay for this I tell you, we're going to pay for it!
Both canines out already, they don't do anything energetic, just stretch out in the shade and …. resume their sleep. Sensible people just stay in bed and drink their freshly made cuppa.
Today's bird prize goes to the Wren! A very, very busy little bird who is flitting about pecking through the moss and creepers on the walls in the back garden. I sometimes wish I had their energy! It continues to be the woodpeckers who are monopolising the feeders so I expect to see the first babies being brought along for their 'how to demolish the peanuts' lessons very soon.
Last evening, it was wonderful to see so many bees raiding the flowers of both the blue and the yellow flag iris in the pond - the noise was quite incredible.
Whatever your plans for the day, I hope all goes well for all.

Sad start to the day. Running SWMBO to work and came across a poor little cat that had just been run over, killed outright. Lady came out of a house and said she'd seen it happen, two carers in a white car. One got out and saw the cat then just got back in and drove away, didn't even move it to the verge. Her neighbour then came out, was her cat, poor love was heartbroken.

A lovely day again (cannot believe how good the weather has been).
Paper has been purchased, cats fed, cat-tray sorted and coffee made.
I was surprised & delighted to see some new numbers on the bathroom scales this morning (12-7-4) and that is the lightest I have been for 21 years.
There may be some riding on the trike later (depends on how hot it gets).

It did sort ov. Eye adter file itta bit. Then glud un scrwed tite. It be dryd ferrabit un then eye givvut er wipe wiv gloss paynt. It be not cuvurd well un needs ur secund cowt.

Lovely name and poor mum, but that is nothing to surprise me after carrying that little bundle for full term ++++.
